She’s Mother Monster to her legions of fans, but Lady Gaga has revealed that that she dreams of having a family of her own one day.
In a new, candid interview with Oprah Winfrey on her show Oprah’s Next Chapter, Gaga, 25 , chatted openly about becoming a mother one day.
She was also joined for what she claims will be her last interview ‘for a long time’ by her mother Cynthia, who admitted that she and Gaga’s father thought their eldest daughter had ‘a screw loose.’

Yes, I want kids, I want a soccer team and I want a husband,’ she said in the special, which airs Sunday on Winfrey’s OWN cable network.
Wearing a scarlet trench coat with her blonde hair tumbling in large curls, Gaga – who is dating Vampire Diaries actor Taylor Kinney – added: ‘Yeah, I do. Well, you know, I’m being superfluous. I don’t want to have one kid. I want to have a few.’
Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, who is currently planning her Born This Way world tour, added that it won’t happen anytime soon, however.
‘I want to experience that,’ indicating a baby bump with her hands and laughing, ‘[but] not yet

Most of the special was filmed in Gaga’s native New York City at her childhood home, where her mother joined her.
Cynthia admitted she started worrying about her daughter’s mental health after watching one of her typically eccentric performances.
She explained: ‘When Gaga started emerging, when she was performing – I think it was at Joe’s Pub downtown – and she was in her bikini performing Lady Starlight and decided that night to … actually light hairspray on fire.

And some people left when that happened … a lot of people stayed and thought it was cool. But her father and I were like, honestly, he said, “I think she has a screw loose.”‘
Footage was also filmed at Harvard University last month, where the singer and the chat show behemoth launched Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.
She was filmed at the launch saying: ‘I just have one thing to say before we get started: We got Oprah!

Thank you from all of us – from my entire team, from my mother, from the bottom of the hearts of so many people who believe in what we’re doing today.’
She explained that the foundation seeks to empower the youth of America, adding: ‘How can we inspire young people to know they have the power to be brave?’
Then she dropped that interview bombshell.
She told Winfrey: ‘Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time.’

The 25-year-old took to her Twitter page to tell followers – who she affectionately refers to as her ‘Little Monsters’ – about how moved she was by his appearance on comedian Jimmy Fallon’s show.

She wrote: “Did ANYONE see SPRINGSTEEN on Fallon last night!!! Buy his new album. It is so genius its (sic) hard to even believe. Just mind-blowing passion.”

In 2011, the singer told Google about how the legend’s talent had affected her and her family.

She said: “My father used to play a lot of Bruce Springsteen records when I was a kid, and he was blue-collar America. And in a way, I related to Bruce because I watched my father, a blue-collar American citizen, relate to Bruce and I think that in a social way, my fans feel blue-collar.

“They feel like they’re the underdogs that will someday be the winners. And I took the influence of Bruce on my father in my life to create this album [Born This Way].”
